As a response and recovery organization, we at Agility Recovery thought it appropriate to reach out to our customers to provide some critical information regarding Hurricane Harvey. However, we first wish to extend our sincere and heartfelt thoughts and prayers directly to the residents of Texas and Louisiana enduring this historic disaster. Experts are predicting that Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath may become one of the costliest natural disasters in U.S. history. Therefore, we are urging our employees, vendors and partners to consider supporting relief organizations in any way that they can. Areas affected by this storm will need extensive help and resources for months, if not years to come. For a list of relief agencies that can use your help and support, please visit Agility’s Facebook Page Here.
As it relates to our support of customers in the affected region, every phone call, email and text message we receive represents a new opportunity for us to do all we can to assist. However, similar to local authorities and first responder organizations, this storm has created unprecedented challenges to recovery efforts. We have already deployed many recovery assets to customer locations, and are continuing to assess logistical challenges so we can ramp up efforts as floodwaters subside. Recovery assets are being trucked in from several states away, and access to some areas may not be possible for a few more days. At this time, we’re in the process of providing power generators, voice and Internet communications equipment, phone redirection capability, mobile restrooms and mobile offices for our customers.
Despite ongoing efforts, the painful reality is that many affected by this storm are facing a long road to recovery. However, we are committed to the long term support of our customers and their communities. We encourage all our customers in the affected areas to continue to reach out to us for help. We’re here for you, and our teams will persist in efforts to offer support and necessary resources. We take great pride in protecting each and every customer and will not rest until we’ve addressed our customers’ needs. Additionally, we continue to offer our thoughts and prayers for all residents in Texas and Louisiana, including our customers, friends and family members in harm’s way.
