MESSAGE FROM THE CEO AFTER HURRICANE FLORENCE
To our valued Customers, Partners and those who support us in our Mission:
Once again, much of the nation’s attention has been drawn to the effects of a large, strong, lingering tropical system that has wrought devastation across a widespread area and affected millions of our fellow Americans. Unfortunately, we may be bearing witness to the “new normal” as it relates to the frequency and severity of storms such as Hurricane Florence. Starting over 10 days ago, we have been assisting our customers threatened by Florence, and have continually witnessed the value a solution like ours has provided to customers to ensure they remain operational in the face of such threats.
At this time, as we continue serving dozens of those customers, we are already taking stock of how well our personnel, processes, vendors, and systems responded and detailing areas for improvement. All in all, we have been pleased to perform to the expectations of our customers in the affected areas and will continue to remain vigilant in our work to deliver on that promise in the days ahead.
It is only with the contributions of our key partners and the phenomenal efforts of our team members that we can assist so many valued customers in their time of need. We applaud our generator, office space and fuel partners for their work at all hours to deliver assets and resources. Additionally, our own Operations, Account Management and Alert/Declare Management teams have all risen to the occasion and served their customers well.
We are only part-way through this event, but I want to express sincere gratitude to all of you for your performance thus far, and make sure we continue to work hard and deliver on our promise. On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team here at Agility Recovery, I want to remind all our stakeholders, internal and external, that we are here to support you all and our doors are always open.
Thank you all for making me proud, and for consistently demonstrating what true teamwork and ownership can mean to an organization with such an important Mission. We may still face challenges from this storm, and I’m sure a few lessons to be learned, but we have reason to stand tall today and take pride in serving those who trust us in their greatest time of need.
CEO, Agility Recovery
