    Slave Lake Wildfire Case Study

    The Unexpected Happened

A wildfire swept through the town of Slave Lake in Alberta, Canada. All 7,000 of the town’s residents were evacuated. Fortunately, there were no casualties among Slave Lake’s population, but flames destroyed 374 properties, including our customer’s large insurance facility.

    They Called Us

We mobilized and delivered a mobile unit, fit with ready-to-work seats, power, and connectivity independent of local infrastructure, to the nearest accessible town, Athabasca, while the fires were brought under control. This recovery was critical to the community. It ensured their employees could continue to work and collect wages while evacuated. It also allowed the company to quickly process claims and quickly provide living expenses for their evacuated clients.
